1. Search engine submission and registration includes includes many popular search engines such as Google,Yahoo, MSN, AOL, Altvista, Alltheweb and others.  Google being by far the most important.

2. Keywords or Search Terms are the words you type into a search engine, such as Google.  If, for example, you want people or potential customers to find your site on the Internet when they type dog food for sale in Vancouver into Google, then you need an Internet Marketing firm to establish these words as your keywords.  Otherwise your competition could be at the #1 position for these words, while you are on page 56 and never seen.

3. Optimizing HTML in a web page is the process by which we make your website understandable to search engine crawlers.  These crawlers are like robots reporting back to the search engine what they find as they roam across the Internet.  In order to have keywords associated with your web page your website must be optimized for reading by these search engine crawlers.


4. A link building or back linking campaign must be executed with careful consideration.  Bulk automatic generation of links is called "spamming the search engine" and can reduce your ranking or even get your site banned from Google.  For the best results hand picked links from quality, content related, sites are required.
